Excessive meat consumption and its relation to hypertension and other diseases

I am really shocked by the fact that many people think that the more meat they eat, the healthier they get and the better their health becomes! Let's crush this fact in this article.

Let’s dive into some details about what can increased consumption of meat do to your body. I will begin with very very basic concepts related to basic physiology in our bodies and later I will show you what does the recent research and trends say.

1- Increased consumption of protein (steak) is associated with hypertension due to the effect of protein on our kidney and its ability to reabsorb sodium

The topic may seem confusing but I will make it so simple as possible. We all aware that steak is a great source of protein, and all of us need a constant amount of protein to avoid collapsing our metabolic pathways. For now, I will talk about how excessive consumption of just protein is related to hypertension (not mentioning cholesterol and animal fat and their direct negative effect on our health)

Meat is composed mainly of proteins. Proteins are just a simple chain of amino acids arranged in different 3D-shapes. Proteins need to have the correct amino acid sequence and the correct 3D-shaped (folding) to function properly.

Very simple right? When you eat meat, your body needs to digest this bulky protein (called polypeptide chains) structure into its basic structure which is amino acids.

Then, each amino acid is reabsorbed from our small intestine to the liver to be metabolized and distributed all over the body. This is done by the aid of our pancreas which secretes enzymes to digest these proteins to their basic structure.

Now you have these amino acids circulating in your plasma. When they reach the kidney, they get filtered. Of course, our bodies don’t want to lose amino acids in the urine, so the kidney cells (called nephrons) have to reabsorb 100% of all amino acids they reach to the kidney because they are vital to our bodies. This doesn’t only happen with amino acids but also with glucose and anything that our bodies need and don’t want to lose in the urine. Well, what is the relation between this and hypertension? The problem here is that whenever you need to reabsorb amino acid, it should be coupled with a sodium molecule

When you eat excess meat (amino acids,) your body will need to reabsorb all of them from the kidney. This is how it is designed. The problem is that if you reabsorb this excess of amino acids, you reabsorb an excess of sodium(Na) along with it! When you reabsorb excess sodium, you also reabsorb excess water along with it. This excess water increases your blood pressure. This is why patients with hypertension are advised to avoid eating food that has an excessive amount of sodium such as Chinese food and french fries because this will increase the amount of water reabsorbed in their kidneys and result in increased blood pressure. Chronic consumption of excessive meat leads to chronically elevated blood pressure which results in hypertension. This doesn't only happen with meat but also with any resource that is rich in protein. Of course, meat is just so rich in protein this is why people who have the phenomenon I explained above are just meat-eaters.

2- Increased consumption of animal fat and protein leads to hypertension and heart disease

An excessive amount of animal fat due to excessive consumption of meat results in hypertension. It just damages your blood vessels and causes hardening of them. I have explained it in great detail in one of my previous answers you can read it from here.

Youssef Refaat Raoof's answer to What valuable information should everybody know about blood pressure and the consequences of hypertension?

Finally excessive fat is related to insulin resistance and diabetes mellitus which predisposes anyone to, again, hypertension and heart disease. This is via the accumulation of fat between muscle cells and this leads to interfering with the ability of muscle cells to uptake glucose from blood via insulin-dependent mechanisms (insulin resistance)

Happy meal ; )!

  1. Irrespective of receiving daily oral or future injectable depot therapies, these require health care visits for medication and monitoring of safety and response. If patients are treated early enough, before a lot of immune system damage has occurred, life expectancy is close to normal, as long as they remain on successful treatment. However, when patients stop therapy, the virus rebounds to high levels in most patients, sometimes associated with severe illness because I have gone through this and even an increased risk of death. The aim of “cure”is ongoing but I still do believe my government made millions of ARV drugs instead of finding a cure. for ongoing therapy and monitoring. ARV alone cannot cure HIV as among the cells that are infected are very long-living CD4 memory cells and possibly other cells that act as long-term reservoirs. HIV can hide in these cells without being detected by the body’s immune system. Therefore even when ART completely blocks subsequent rounds of infection of cells, reservoirs that have been infected before therapy initiation persist and from these reservoirs HIV rebounds if therapy is stopped. “Cure” could either mean an eradication cure, which means to completely rid the body of reservoir virus or a functional HIV cure, where HIV may remain in reservoir cells but rebound to high levels is prevented after therapy interruption.Dr Itua Herbal Medicine makes me believes there is a hope for people suffering from,Parkinson's disease,Schizophrenia,Lung Cancer,Breast Cancer,Lupus,Lyme Disease,psoriasis,Colo-Rectal Cancer,Blood Cancer,Prostate Cancer, siva,Epilepsy Dupuytren's disease,Desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor Diabetes ,Coeliac disease,Brain Tumor,Fibromyalgia,Alzheimer's disease,Adrenocortical carcinoma Infectious mononucleosis. .Asthma,Allergic diseases.Hiv_ Aids,Herpe ,Copd,Glaucoma., Cataracts,Macular degeneration,Cardiovascular disease,Chronic Myelo ,Lung disease,Enlarged prostate,Osteoporosis,Dementia.(measles, tetanus, whooping cough, tuberculosis, polio and diphtheria),Chronic Diarrhea,Hpv,All Cancer Types,Diabetes,Hepatitis, I read about him online how he cure Tasha and Tara so i contacted him on drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com / . even talked on whatsapps +2348149277967 believe me it was easy i drank his herbal medicine for two weeks and i was cured just like that isn't Dr Itua a wonder man?
